Got an old prom dress or bridesmaid gown in your closet? Please consider donating it to a special needs student. “A Night to Remember” is a full-scale, memory-making prom for specials needs students. Watch this video to see for yourself how much this event can mean to a young person. (But have tissues in hands, because these happy faces will melt your heart.)
Companies are donating a long red carpet and limos, and makeup artists are donating their talents, and restaurants and photographers are chipping in, too. What the group needs now is dresses for the young ladies. Costume jewelry and boys tuxedo wear would also be much appreciated. They’re also accepting volunteers and monetary sponsorships of the honored guests and their volunteer escorts.
You can contact my friend, Cheryl, though the attached video link, or you can give me a holler and I’ll put you in touch. I just dropped off a beautiful blue bridesmaid gown at Cheryl’s house, and I’ll tell you, I feel like I’m walking on a red carpet today. To know that I’m helping a young girl make a wonderful memory feels totally fantastic!
