Twice in two minutes tonight my jaw dropped open. Yeah, I know, jaw-dropping is hugely cliche, but it really happened—twice—and it was a reaction from the heart: I was completely astounded. Let’s see what your reaction is to the things that people can create.
First, from weburbanist.com, 32 gingerbread houses that I’d pay to actually live in. Oh. My. Go ahead, take a look at them and tell me that you don’t have a sudden hankering to move into a home with walls you can eat.
Second, from Yamaha (go figure), these paper models… that YOU can make using their templates. I don’t have the words for a craft this amazing. (Yes, this motorcycle is made of PAPER. And so is the zebra. They have insects, birds, and lizards, too. You really will be mightily impressed.)

And you’ll probably be pretty humbled, too. I mean, here I was, feeling darned full of myself for making Treasure Balls that so strongly resembled elephant droppings that they were renamed Poop Balls by six four-year-olds. Clearly, I exist on a far lower plane of crafting than do the individuals who create these houses, motorcycles, and striped horses.
But then, let’s consider my audience. The six four-year-olds at my Poop Ball party were pretty dang impressed with their stinky brown lumps with toys in the center. I dare Yamaha to do any better with kids that age.
The houses were pretty spectacular!!! Where do you find these sites?????
