Hello Deborah –I’m rather late to this writer’s table, in that I’m 65 and just beginning to launch my career as blogger (since last July 2010) at http://www.biddybytes.com I’ve been published in WSJ (medical piece), Scripps Howard, World Health, Providence Journal…Hell, my stuff’s even been in Asian Bride (I don’t know how that happened!) I’ve quipped: “It’s better traveled than I.” Anyway, I live in Asheville, NC, and I will begin touring and doing the circuit of library talks and bookstores (I’m a bit of a showman so it should be fairly easy) to ramp up audience, but this is all foreign to me. However, I do draw on lots of other experience, as you can see in my Home (Bio) page.
And oh, I’m the grandmother of twins, so I know 2/3rds. of what you reference–they’re boys too. I only hgad girls and I can’t get over the fact they can ricochet off the walls with ‘nary a complaint!) Looking forward to future “talks” with you–I enjoy your style of writing.
I found you circuitously—I Googled Baby Jessica and got to you eventually; I imagine that’ll happen a lot today. Baby Jessica appeared in my Alexa headbar…
Yes, Colleen, boys sure do fly about. The energy!
Thanks for the heads-up about Baby Jessica being in the news today. It’s interesting how you came to my blog . . . and how it connected with you. I’m so glad to hear that. 🙂 Good luck with your writing!
