Flying High with Kite Tales

March 5, 2011

Kite K Jan 11I may have been grounded by the germs for the past two weeks (which accounts for my recent extended silence on this blog), but I still get to soar with kites thanks to SCBWI’s Tri-Regions of Southern California chapter. The chapter has included me in its 2011 Spring newsletter Kite Tales.

If you’d like a peek, the chapter has shared a link to the newsletter, which is full of fantastic information: Kite Tales, Spring 2011. For more information about SCBWI (Society of Children’s Books Writers & Illustrators), go to SCBWI.org.

    Very cool, Debbie!!!

Oh, how we love and miss that park. We flew many a kite, while looking at the beautiful San Miguel. BTW, you look awesome in a red and white striped hat! I completely forgot that it was Dr. Seuss’ birthday this past week. Our family has matching hats and bow-tie collars that I bought a few years ago on clearance. Must remember to break them out, next year!! 🙂
