Monkey See, Monkey . . . DON’T!

The third born of my trio takes after me in that he thinks he can do anything he sets his mind to. Alas, UNlike me, he tends to set his mind to extreme acts of physical daring.

One belly flop and two chest x-rays later, the Halversons have a new rule: No back flips on the monkey bars.

Here’s my story . . .

I have seven-year-old triplet boys. Normal life is a thing of my past. Now I live the Triplet Experience, an extreme kind of normal in which the joys, the trials, and, yes, the blunders of motherhood are multiplied and magnified. In the early years, people asked, “What’s it like? Do they all cry at once? Do they ever sleep at once? How do you do it? I can barely handle one!” When I told them that I wrote novels while the boys napped, they really wanted answers! So I decided to answer with this blog. Happy reading!
