How I Spend My Tuesdays

Usually, I spend my Tuesdays volunteering in my three sons’ classrooms. This last month, however, I’ve had some work conflicts that made my all-day Tuesday commitment impossible. I couldn’t stay away entirely, though. When I heard that one of my boys’ teachers was hosting a Boys Club lunchtime activity, I chimed right in with the perfect activity idea: paper airplanes!

What boy doesn’t like paper airplanes?

The teacher and I taught the boys to fold two kinds of paper airplanes. Then we provided markers for decorating the planes. Then, the real fun: we took them outside to test their planes.
