Announcing the third Pink Lemonade Project lemonade stand: October 10, 2009, 11am to 3pm at Scripps Park in La Jolla Cove, the lovely park just above the Children’s Pool (aka “Seal Beach”). Please stop by and buy a cold one, it’s for a great cause. And if you’re not a San Diegan, you can still have a glass of the sweet stuff at our virtual lemonade stand using my own personal fizzy pink lemonade recipe at www.PinkLemonadeProject.com.
FYI: Team MORE THE MERRIER, WALKERS FOR KNOCKERS is made up of five triplet moms who originally met through San Diego’s support group for mothers of multiples, MORE THE MERRIER. We have committed to make a difference in the search for the cure and have pledged to raise $12,000 and walk in the BREAST CANCER 3-DAY, a 60-mile walk over the course of three days, in San Diego, California, on November 20-22, 2009. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
